The LEGO Group is looking for a Lead JavaScript Application Engineer to work on the LEGO.com technology platform as part of our Marketing & Channels Technology team based in London.

Our engineers work in interdisciplinary squads each arranged around clear product goals with responsibility for delivery of their own product roadmaps. You’ll be committed to one of our dedicated squads working on the LEGO.com platform alongside a dedicated and diverse team of software engineers as well as working with Principal Engineers and Engineering Leadership on solving some of our largest and most complex problems.

This is a permanent role based in our London Hub near Chancery Lane station. Our colleagues are all currently still working from home and when the Hub re-opens fully, we will have a hybrid model allowing a split of working from the Hub but also working from home for a number of days per week where appropriate.

Core Responsibilities

  • Lead the solution design and build of efficient and reusable solutions for some of our largest and most complex requirements
  • Actively lead engineering strategy for an area of Marketing & Channels Technology focused on both current requirements and long-term direction
  • Proactively sponsor and mentor senior engineers across an area of Marketing & Channels Technology
