IMG drives Apples media experiences with core technologies such as Metal, QuickTime, OpenGL, OpenCL, Core Audio, Quartz Composer, Core Video, Core Animation, and more.The GPU Software Engineering team is looking for a detail oriented, energetic problem solver with engineering experience/education, excellent verbal and written communication skills, and a strong work ethic. The candidate must possess the source control, programming, and debugging expertise to tackle a variety of technical build and integration problems, as well as the interpersonal skills to work optimally with non-technical colleagues. Development experience on Mac OS X or Unix is required.RESPONSIBILITIES:Performing daily software builds for Graphics Driver and Tool productsSolving and resolving complex software integration issuesWorking with development teams to configure project code baseDeveloping tools and processes to improve and automate build system workflowWork multi-functionally with development, management, and QA teams across GPUSWMaintaining and integrating automation toolsDocument any new process or update an existing wiki pageAbility to manage multiple tasks and prioritize work accordingly Self-motivated and pro-active with demonstrated creative and critical thinking capabilitiesExcellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills
