 A permanent Principal Test Automation Architect working in Manchester as part of an Engineering division for a world leading software technology organisation. In this job you will influence the testing strategy of our software architecture and provide leadership in testing aspects across the organization.

Due to ongoing innovation development around software, we are looking for an experienced Principal Test Automation Architect to join our team in Manchester.

Your New Job

You will be responsible for developing a scalable test strategy to balance the needs of quality within business constraints.

You will work closely with the release technical leads to ensure the test architecture is robust, efficient and scalable to meet the needs of our product delivery schedules.

What you’ll need to succeed

The successful Principal Test Automation Architect will have a proven track record of analysing test strategy in complex software environments and steering test strategy in an organization spanning a wide geography. Experience of being accountable for analysing test coverage and maintaining efficiency would be ideal. Solid understanding of software development ideally with C, C++ or python background would be a plus.      

Candidates should demonstrate the ability of managing test configurations and designing test architectures. Exhibiting leadership skills within this role will be advantageous as you will be working in collaboration with your teams.
