DESCRIPTION:

Duties: Develop microservices using Spring Boot and Restful service APIS. Design software solutions for enterprise applications in collaboration with Solution Architecture team. Work with business analysts to implement business requirements in Java, J2EE, Spring, Oracle, AngularJS. Collaborate with business and technical partners to identify and scope the opportunities, outline potential value and ROI, identify risks, benefits and constraints. Contribute to the overall strategy and manage complex issues within functional area of expertise. Develop overall strategic technical plan and create architecture proposals based on identified solution gaps. Create SOAP and Rest based services to handle multiple business scenarios across multiple applications. Configure, test, and deploy Spring Boot microservices to inhouse cloud environment. Create and implementing system architectures for multiple microservice based applications using Sprint Boot. Develop automated test cases using the Junit Test framework. Document all new components and upgrade enhancements in Confluence and Jira. Design and creation of databases and tables in Oracle and migration of database from DB2 to Orac. Develop components using Hadoop, Spark, Sqoop, NIFI to analyze, aggregate and compute large set of data and ingest into Cassandra database through Mapreduce jobs. Design and develop event-based architecture using Kafka to handle complexes business scenarios with great performance in terms of horizontal scaling and resiliency. Active role in sprint planning, grooming and creating JIRA stories and tracking for closure. Develop scripts for actively monitoring through Splunk and Dynatrace and develop automated handling of any incidents. Analyze and develop monitoring tools to track the health of cloud-based apps.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Minimum education and experience required: Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Computer Science, or a related field plus 6 years of experience in Application Development, System Design, Architecture, or related experience OR Master's degree or equivalent in Computer Science, or a related field plus 3 years of experience in Application Development, System Design, Architecture, or related experience.

Skills required: Experience with Java. Experience with Javascript , CSS, HTML, and AngularJs. Experience with Cloud Technology, Kafka, Hadoop, Spark, and Sqoop. Experience with Cassandra and No SQL. Experience with DB2 and Oracle. Experience with Websphere and Tomcat. Experience with SOAP webservices development. Experience with REST Services development. Experience with Unix shell scripts. Experience with performance monitoring Splunk and dynaTrace. Experience with Application Development and support. Employer will accept any amount of professional experience with the required skills.
