The Chase Digital team is responsible for enhancing the desktop/mobile/tablet experiences for our current and prospective Chase customers. The Digital Technology Team is looking for a Dev Lead with strong technical skills, with a though understanding of the agile development process. We are building best in class Digital applications and API's. As a Dev Lead you are expected to be a team facilitator and be responsible for bringing the team together to deliver. You should have an understanding/ experience in Java/J2EE, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. You have a passion for creating the best user experience possible.

Responsibilities: * As a Dev Lead drive the Technical team and the Product Owners in an Agile development process. * Responsible for enacting Scrum values and practices * Guards and shields the team from distractions and interruptions from external interferences * Enables close cooperation across all roles and functions * Has strong understanding of the overall software delivery lifecycle and activities * Promote and participate in the continuous improvement of structure, processes, tooling to enable the teams to deliver more value. * Organize and facilitate standups, release and sprint planning, reviews, demos and retrospectives. * Support efforts to code, design, and testing in a heterogeneous technology environment e.g. JavaScript MVC, HTML, CSS, Java/ J2EE * Identify opportunities for process and tool improvements and drive those from concept to implementation. * Engineer a world-class platform with an eye towards rapid iteration and creative problem solving. * Ensure quality and completeness of the product through unit, integration, and regression capabilities. * Adheres to architecture standards, risk management and security policies. * Contribute and collaborate in creation and consumption of open, standards-based solutions, while working with existing J.P.Morgan technologies and infrastructure.

Requirements: * Excellent understanding of development concepts and SDLC methodologies. * Strong customer focus, excellent problem solving and analytical skills. * Strong verbal and written communication skills. * Ability to work in a rapidly changing environment. * Understanding of object orientation and software design patterns * Experience of testing at the unit, integration and system levels * Experience with at least one web application server such as Tomcat, or similar * Strong Hands on coding Experience * Strong knowledge and experience on Javascript, Java * Strong Knowledge and experience on Testing Automation * Strong Knowledge and experience on performance profiling * Strong Knowledge and experience on build pipeline (Jenkins, Jules, Groovy) * Knowledge and experience on Cloud related such as Kubernetes, Docker, GKP, AWS

Desirable:- * Understanding of (Java/J2EE or .Net, HTML5, CSS, JavaScript, Spring, AJAX, & JSON skills for implementing web technologies, Familiar with React is required * Understanding in JQuery, NodeJS * Understanding of multithreaded software design. * Understanding Testing Automation such as BDD, Cucumber * Understanding Build Pipeline - Jenkins, Jules, Groovy * Understanding Cloud - such as AWS, GKP, GAP etc. * Understanding of the AJAX and Spring frameworks. * Experience with other Agile practices * Participation in Test Driven Development or Business Driven Development * Practice of Continuous Integration or Continuous Delivery

Qualifications: * Overall 10+ years of experience in delivering technology solutions * 8+ years of web development experience working on Windows or Java platform * 8+ years' experience with JAVA, HTML5, CSS, JavaScript, AJAX and Spring frameworks. * 5+ years experience with Jenkin, Jules, GKP, GAP * BS or MS in Computer Science or related field
