Job Description

The Application developer will be working for the Prime Finance Analytics Technology team, part of Corporate & Investment Bank at J.P.Morgan. The candidate will work closely with senior technology members to deliver quality web applications that provide rich end-user experience. He/she will effectively communicate and work with other development teams and the business as required to ensure application requirements are delivered and all project milestones are met.

Requirements * Self motivated, innovative and self starter. * Ability to work in a team environment and partner with development and support teams globally. * Strong business focus and a clear understanding that technology is the means to achieving business goals. * Ability to learn and assimilate proprietary systems quickly. * Strong communication skills. * Effective partnership skills to work with the business to ensure requirements are captured correctly. * Ability to perform in a fast paced environment where time to delivery and/or resolution is critical to protect/increase revenue stream.

Technical Requirements

Required * UI development experience with JavaScript, ES6, Typescript, HTML5, CSS3. * Sound knowledge of React JS, Redux and Nodejs * Exposure to libraries like Highchart, RxJS, Golden Layout, AG-Grid, loadash, etc. * Good Knowledge of architecture design and development * Dev Environment Tools: Node, npm, Webpack, Babel

Desirable * Exposure to Angular JS. * Knowledge of Cloud technologies. * Operating Systems - comfortable with Linux. * Scripting - Shell/Python * Development processes (Agile)

Qualifications * Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, Math or Sciences
